Jimmy Don Rogers

Jimmy Don Rogers, 68, formerly of Collinsville, OK passed away Saturday, June 27, 2020 in Jenks, OK. He was born January 22, 1952 in Tulsa, OK to J.B. Rogers and the former Jean Jordon. He taught English and was a Basketball Coach for Broken Arrow Public Schools, worked for the City of Collinsville and work for Rogers Homes. He was a member of the Oklahoma National Guard. He married Gail Langbein on April 4, 1992.

Graveside services will be 10:00 am, Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at the Ridgelawn Cemetery with Minister David A. Baker officiating.

He is survived by his wife Gail Rogers of the home, 4 children: Jody Rogers and his wife Whitney of Louisville, KY, Lonnie Shackelford and his wife Jennifer of Collinsville, Rebecca Ventris and husband Rance of Owasso and Rhonda Limbocker and her husband Jason of Collinsville, 10 grandchildren: Grant Rogers, Clayton Rogers, Bennett Rogers, Zoe Shackleford, Dylan Weabe, Brad Williamson, Brittany Ventris, Chance Danderson, Lexa Danderson and Jenna Limbocker. A sister, Janet Rogers of Sapulpa, OK, also survives him.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
