Wynema Jean Thrasher

Wynema Jean Thrasher of Welch, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2009 in Owasso, OK. She was 81. Wynema was born December 19, 1927 in Bartlesville to Guy and Lucy (Hartsock) Branson. She lived in the Welch area for 40 years and worked as the City Clerk before retiring. Wynema had many hobbies which included gardening, canning, and reading. She also was quite the seamstress. She will be missed by many.

Wynema is survived by her 3 children, Georgia Lawson of Collinsville, Fred Rhoten and his wife Sherri of Edmond, and Joan Haley and her husband George of Collinsville; 1 sister, Twila Dawn Darnell of Springfield, OR; 15 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 1 son Thomas Rhoten and her husband, Albert Thrasher.
