Willie Ruth Baldwin

Willie Ruth Baldwin, 101, lifelong resident of Oologah, OK, passed away Friday, May 31, 2019 in Oologah. She was born December 3, 1917 in Collinsville, OK to Clabe Merchant and Mary Isabell (Thurlo) Dirickson. She work for 28 years for Murphy Safety Switch in Tulsa and was a member of the Oologah United Methodist Church. She and her husband, Chet, were former Mr. and Mrs. Pioneer of Oologah.

Visitation will be 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, June 9, 2019 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home. The family will be present from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 10, 2019 at the Oologah United Methodist Church with Rev. Jennifer Long and Rev. Mark Bright officiating. Interment will follow at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Oologah.

She is survived by two daughters: Judy Ashwood and her husband Danny of Oologah, OK and Linda Mattison and her husband Glen of Skiatook, OK, 10 Grandchildren and numerous Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great-Grandchildren.  She also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.

Her parents, her husband, Chet and a son, Jack Lloyd Baldwin, precede her in death.
