William Atlas Gosvener

William Atlas Gosvener, 88, of Collinsville, OK passed away Sunday, December 19, 2010 in Collinsville, OK. He was born October 13, 1922 in Hindsville, AR to WIlliam and Arta (Beach) Gosvener. He married Hattie Helena Clark on January 25, 1941 in Claremore, OK. He was a member of Baptist Tabernacle Church. He moved to California in 1950 and stayed there until returning to Oklahoma in 1969.

He is survived by 1 son: Lonnie Gosvener and his wife Nancy of Visalia, CA. 4 Grandchildren: Bobby Gosvener, son of Mike Gosvener and Matthew Gosvener, Sarah Gosvener, and Kate Todd, all children of Lonnie. He is also survived by 7 Great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 children and 11 brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at the Baptist Tabernacle with Rev. Gary Cate officiating. Interment will follow at the Wann Cemetery.
