William Gregory Cates, 72, formerly of Collinsville, OK passed away Saturday, July 7, 2024, in Tulsa, OK. He was born November 25, 1951, in Tyler, TX to Medwin Adams Cates and the former Bessie Jane Dyes. Before moving to Tulsa, he had lived in Collinsville since 1967.

He is survived by his sister: Angela Breeding of Skiatook, 1 Brother: Steve Funk and his wife Diane of Plano, TX. 5 nephews: Nathan Funk, Joshua Funk, Zachary Breeding, Dustin Cates and Hunter Cates, 2 nieces: Keeley Childress and Tiffany Clark. He is also survived by several other friends and relatives.

He is preceded in death by 1 sister: Cynthia Cates and 2 brothers: Ronald Cates and Roger Cates.

Cremation services provided by Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
