Wilbur Lee Tucker Jr.

March 22, 1971 — April 19, 2022

Wilbur Lee Tucker Jr., age 51, of Collinsville, Oklahoma, was called to his heavenly home on the evening of April 19, 2022.

Wilbur Lee Tucker Jr., was born to Wilbur and Connie Tucker on March 22, 1971 in Colorado Springs, CO. He spent his childhood playing sports, singing in the choir, and being an ornery brother to his five sisters. He was a graduate of the Collinsville High School Class of 1989.

In 2005, Wilbur Lee married his best friend and the love of his life, Tara. They planted roots in Collinsville where they began their forever. Wilbur Lee had an immense passion for all things country music and rodeo, but nothing compared to the unconditional love and devotion he had for his wife and kids. To know him was to love him. He had a smile, kind word or an “atta boy or atta girl” for everyone. Wilbur Lee was a loving husband, devoted father, gracious son, protective brother and friend. He played an active role in his community, being a father to not only his kids but to every kid he coached or walked through his front door. Wilbur Lee spent most of his time supporting his kids in their endeavors, being known as the dad who “never misses a ballgame”. When he wasn’t with his family, you could find him with his guitar in hand, singing on a stage or in the roping arena.

He always knew that God had a plan far bigger than anything we could ever think or dream of and reminded his family often that “it’ll all work out, God has a plan”.

Wilbur Lee is survived by his wife Tara, his four kids; Wyatt, Laney, Taybri and Telan, his mom Connie, and his 5 sisters; Darenda, Angela, Monaca, Sonya, and Ciera as well as their families.
