Viola Ruth Glover, 72, of Collinsville, OK passed away Friday, January 29, 2010 in Collinsville. She was born March 1, 1937 in Chelsea, Ok to George Leslie Hayworth and the former Flona Fillman She was saved at New Life Ranch with Rev. Willard Heck in 1959 in Siloam Springs, OK/AR. She was baptized in the Illinois River near Little Kansas, OK by Brother Woodrow Carol. She was affiliated with Amazing Grace Tabernacle (Sam and Nancy Rabbit) for many Years. She worked for the Collinsville Ambulance Service in the early 1980’s for 14 years. She had worked at Pinkerton Security for 20 years before retiring, mostly at the Gilcrease Museum and Port of Catoosa, the last two years with Dorothy and Tina at ADM.
She married Amos B. Glover, in Tulsa, July 15, 1952.
She is survived by her husband, Amos of the home. 7 Children: Gloria Rice and her husband Jeff of Chelsea, OK, Dan Glover and his wife Diana of Alma, AR., Les Glover and his wife Grace of Morris, IL., Ted Glover and his wife Janet of Collinsville, OK, Iva Webber of Tulsa, Dorothy Feeback and her husband Jeff of Collinsville, OK., Tina Myers and her husband Frank of Collinsville, OK. 1 Brother: John Hayworth of Chelsea, 23 Grandchildren, 21 Great-Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Amos Leslie in 1955, her father, George Hayworth, in 1989, her mother, Flona Hayworth, in 1998, her brother, Ron, in 1998 and a sister, Ruby, in 1955.
Visitation: 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at Amazing Grace Tabernacle in Collinsville. Interment will be 2:00 p.m. at White Oak Cemetery in Craig County.
