Veda Marie Lilburn

Veda Marie Lilburn, 84, of Talala, OK passed away Monday, January 13, 2025, in Talala. She was born July 30, 1940, in Nowata, OK to Thomas LaRue Rush and the former Elna Veda Brashear. She had been a resident of Talala for the last 40 years having moved from Fletcher, OK where she was the secretary for the First Christian Church. After moving to Talala, she and her husband joined the Talala Christian Church. She enjoyed bowling, having been in several leagues, and traveling.

Funeral services will be Thursday, 1:00 pm, January 16, 2025, at the Talala Christian Church with Rev. Tom Jones officiating.

She is survived by her husband: Ron of the home, 2 children: Tina Lilburn of Talala and Justin Lilburn of Tulsa, 4 grandchildren: Jessiqua Wittman, Ronald Lilburn, Austin Lilburn and Delina Lilburn, 8 great-grandchildren: Elisha Wittman, Leotta Wittman, Obed Wittman, Evah Wittman, Lily Lilburn, Addison Lilburn, Janora Lilburn and Arthor Lilburn. She is also survived by 1 brother: Robert Rush.

She is preceded in death by 1brother: William Rush.

Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
