Tommye Kay Lewis
June 1, 1950 – October 2, 2026
Tommye Kay Lewis was born June 1, 1950, in Quinton, Oklahoma, to Tommy Stephens and Evelyn Stephens. She later moved to Collinsville, Oklahoma, where she met the love of her life, Charles Lewis. Together, they built a life filled with love, family, faith, and countless memories. Charles preceded her in death.
Tommye was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved her children and grandchildren more than life itself. Her family was her greatest treasure, and being a mom and MawMaw was one of the greatest blessings of her life.
She was a devoted full-time mother while raising her children, giving her time, energy, and heart to her family. After her children were grown, she worked for many years at Mardel’s. But her favorite job of all came when she became a grandmother. Her full-time job became spoiling her grandkids—and she was excellent at it. She loved every minute of being their MawMaw and had a way of making each of them feel incredibly loved and special.
Above everything else, Tommye loved Jesus. Her faith was the foundation of her life. She didn’t simply believe in Jesus—she loved Him deeply and lived her life with Him at the center. She kept numerous journals throughout the years, filled with her thoughts, prayers, and reflections. Those journals are a precious piece of the legacy she leaves behind and a reminder of a woman whose heart belonged to her Savior.
Tommye is survived by her children, Denise Farrow, Mark Wiles, and Sheila Watson and her husband, Cory; her grandchildren, Jessica Winsby, Brittany Goins, Dylan Dunn, Hunter Dunn, and Coby Watson; and her great-grandchildren, Jaslin Dunn, Johnathan Dunn, Journey Dunn, Summer Taylor, Autumn Winsby, Max Goins, and Olivia Goins.
The love Tommye gave her family will continue through every generation that comes after her. Her children will remember their mom. Her grandchildren will remember their MawMaw. Her great-grandchildren will grow up hearing about the woman who loved her family with her whole heart.
And while there are broken hearts here on earth, her family finds comfort knowing that Tommye is no longer hurting, no longer tired, and no longer fighting.
She is home.
She is with Jesus—the One she loved above everything.
And after all these years, she is finally reunited with the love of her life, Charles.
Until we meet again, Mom/MawMaw. We love you more than life itself.
