Tommy Richard Sligar

Tommy Richard Sligar of Tulsa, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2015 in Tulsa. Tommy was born on March 13, 1960 to J.R. Sligar and the former Darlene Melton. He was raised and attended school in Oologah. Tommy liked to fix things and worked as a mechanic. He enjoyed classic car shows and going with friends to the casino. Tommy was loved by his family and will be missed by many.

Tommy is survived by his mother, Darlene Stone and husband Ron; his father, J.R. Sligar and wife Louise; his children, Michelle, Melissa, and Joshua; his siblings, Bobby Sligar and wife Debbie of Oologah, Kathy Walsh and husband Bob of Claremore, Danny Sligar of Talala, Karrey Lockney and husband Blake of Tulsa, and Duwayne Sligar and wife Carole of Claremore; 3 grandchildren; 12 nieces and nephews; and 8 great nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family and friends. Tommy was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Visitation for Tommy will be held Wednesday, September 16, 2015, from 9 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.

The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home Chapel with Lillie Gardner officiating. Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home, (918) 371-2111.
