Tommy Ann Christie

Tommy Ann Christie of Collinsville, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2011 surrounded by her loved ones. She was 61. Tommy was born September 17, 1949 to Leon and Lizzie (Nail) Parker in Tahlequah. Tommy married Clyde Christie on February 3, 1967 in Keys. Together they raised three children. Tommy was an upholsterer and had her own business, Christie Upholstery until her retirement. She was a member of Collinsville Free Will Baptist Church. Tommy was very active in her grandchildren’s activities. She and her husband enjoyed going to car shows and riding around in the cars he restored. Tommy was loved by many and will be missed.

Tommy is survived by her husband, Clyde Christie of the home; her mother, Lizzie Parker of the home; three children, Steve Christie of Collinsville, JoAnn Camp and husband Ross of Collinsville, and Marsha Jones and husband Gary of Terlton; five grandchildren, Trey Jones, Ashley Jones, Corban Christie, Cameron Camp, and Caitlin Camp. She was preceded in death by her father, her mother- and father-in-law, aunts and uncles.

Visitation: Sunday, March 13, 2011 from 1:30 p.m - 6:00 p.m. and Monday, March 14, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 15, 2011 in the Chapel at Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home will Rev. Hermon Wood officiating. Interment will be held at 3:00 p.m. at Crittenden Cemetery near Tahlequah. Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
