Thurman J. Smith

Thurman Joseph Smith, 98, of Collinsville, OK passed away Thursday, February 27, 2014 in Collinsville, OK. He was born February 16, 1916 in Elkins, AR to Singleton G. and Nora (Tisdale) Smith. He had lived in Collinsville since 1953. After working for several other Airlines, he retired from Boeing Airlines. Thurman was a member of the Collinsville Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife, Tommy of the home. 2 children: Bryanna Phillips and her husband Jimmie of Owasso and Dan Alan Smith and his wife Michele of Broken Arrow. A daughter-in-law, Barbara Smith. 6 Grandchildren: Sally Dunn, Jennifer Carver, Dan Alan Smith, Jr. , Paula Lewis, Aaron Smith and Alex Remy, 11 Great-Grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by 1 son: Charles Steven Smith and 1 granddaughter: Tina Endres.

Visitation will be 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, March 2, 2014 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be 2:30, Monday, March 3, 2014 at the Collinsville Church of Christ with Mr. Carl Harris officiating.
