Thomas "Tom" Nathan Fritts Sr of Collinsville, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 on his family farm. Thomas was born on April 18th, 1958 in Tulsa to John and Betty (Thomason) Fritts. He graduated from Collinsville High School in 1976 and attended Tulsa VoTech for Machining. During his youth, outside of caring for the family farm and friends, he was a proud Boy Scout to which he earned the title Eagle Scout. He was also a hardworking member of Collinsville FFA to which he was awarded on many accounts for showing his cattle and speaking. Thomas was also a proud member of the Cherokee tribe and taught all he knew of tradition to his children. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting, and working the soil on the farm. He took pride in everything he and his family did.
Tom is survived by his spouse, Marjon (Acree) Fritts; his daughter, Aslee Fritts; and a gathering of cousins, aunts and an uncle and additional family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his Father and Mother John and Betty Fritts, Grandparents Sarah and Darius Thomason and Mabell and Jack Fritts, Great Uncle and Aunt Herman and Marie Thomason, Sister Sharon Fritts, Uncles and Aunts: Orvil Fritts, Ida Fritts, Bill Fritts and Charles Fritts and son Thomas Nathan Fritts II preceded him.
A memorial service will be held 6:30 pm, Thursday, January 12, 2023 at the Veterans Community Center, 903 W Main St., Collinsville, OK.
