Thida Lee Hoffman

Thida Lee (Blue) Hoffman, 93, peacefully passed away in her home on November 21, 2019. She was born in Cushman, Arkansas on July 24, 1926 to Aldrith and Ollie (Haddock) Blue. She is preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, two brothers, an infant grandson and granddaughter, and one infant great granddaughter.

While spending a summer in California working on a grape farm, she met the love of her life Frank Hoffman. They married September 3, 1946 and made their home in Collinsville, OK. Together they had four children, all graduates of Collinsville High School.

Thida was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Everyone who knew her loved her and the sweet smile she always had on her face. She loved working in her flower garden, watching her grandchildren play sports, and her cat Missy. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her four children, Janice Winton and husband Gary, Robert Hoffman and wife Barbara, David Hoffman and wife Caryn, Vonda Tucker and husband Brian, all residents of Collinsville. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Visitation: 1:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., Sunday, November 24, 2019 and 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., Monday, November 25, 2019 at Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home with the family receiving guests beginning at 5.  The Wake Service will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel.

Mass of Christian Burial: 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at St Therese Catholic Church in Collinsville with Father Matt LaChance officiating.  Interment will follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery.
