Terry (Dad, Pops, Poppy) Imhoff, age 80 left this world to soon on Sunday, April 4, 2021. He was born in Peekskill, NY to the late Vincent and Anna Imhoff. He was married on June 3, 1961 in Ossining, NY to Lillian and they got to celebrate 56 years of marriage before her passing in 2017. They lived together in New York for 18 years before relocating to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma with both of their daughters in 1979.
Terry and Lee went on many adventures when they were young. They loved loading up and going on last minute camping trips, road trips, and spending as much time as they could outdoors with their daughters. After the loss of Lee, Terry bought a new camper for himself and his dog Penny so they could continue on with the adventures.
He was an electrician most of his life, he took over his father’s business in New York. When he moved to Oklahoma he worked for Hilti until the plant closed, after that he went on to Vo-Tech as an assistant head of maintenance, which is where he retired from in 1997.
He was a very involved grandfather and great grandfather. Nothing made him prouder than hearing about both of his granddaughters’ dreams of becoming a RN and a DR. He loved going to lunch with his great grandsons and hearing all about how school had been going and making sure they knew that all little boys should drink chocolate milk. He had a love hate relationship with “Selfies” because his daughters and granddaughters were always pulling out their phones and telling him to smile. He would just laugh and shake his head, but he always smiled for the picture! He left everyone with lots of happy memories and lots of selfies!
Terry is survived by: Daughter Kim Perkins and her husband Terry Perkins, Daughter Dena Lord and her husband Terry Lord, many foster children, grandson Larry Perkins and his wife JJ Perkins, granddaughter Melisa Lord, grandson Terry Lord, granddaughter Tara Lord and her wife Cara Lord, granddaughter Skylar Lord, and great grandsons Holden, Hayden, and Swayzi Lord.
