Susan “Karen” Willis (Patterson), Age 54, passed away on January 23, 2008 at Hillcrest Medical Center due to complications of a stroke. Karen was born on March 9, 1953 to Harley Wayne Patterson Sr. and Vista Earlen Patterson (Lane) in Tulsa, OK. Karen moved to Jacksonville, Fl shortly after graduating Oologah High School in 1971 and lived there until she moved to Fort Meyers, FL in 1991. In 1998, Karen moved back to Oklahoma and fell in love with James Daniel Willis of Vera, OK and they were married on January 30, 2001. Karen Willis is a loving mother of two children Scotty Wayne Hudson, age 36, currently serving in the United States Coast Guard in St. Louis, MO and Angela Suzzane Taylor, age 30, a Lee County, Florida Corrections Deputy living in Punta Gorda, FL. Karen is a grandmother of 6 grandchildren, Chelsea Korina Hudson, age 17, Dakota James Hudson, age 15, Austin Charles Hudson, age 11, Wyatt Matthew Beall, age 8, Jacelyn Claire Beall, age 6 and the soon to be delivered Wesley James Taylor. Karen is survived by her mother, Vista Earlen Patterson and her brothers and sisters, Harley Wayne Patterson of Depew, OK, William Stanley Patterson of Foyil, OK and Donna Jean Fendley of Oologah, OK.
Our mother departed this world with everyone that she loved the most in this world around her; she loved us all without condition. She will be missed greatly in all our lives. Danny, Angie and I love you mom, rest peacefully and we will see you again in God’s time.
Viewing will be scheduled on January 25, 2008 from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held at the Oologah Assembly of God at 10:00 am, 26 January 2008 with interment following at Talala Cemetery.
