Steven Glen Johnston

Steven Glen Johnston, 42, of Talala, OK was born July 3, 1973 in Claremore, OK to Bill Johnston and the former Joan Robinson.

Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 11, 2016 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 12, 2016 at the Wann Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Moore officiating.

Steven had lived all of his life in the Oologah-Talala area having graduated from Oologah-Talala High School. He enjoyed spending time at the Sunnyside Camp ground and was a true Outdoorsman. He was a proud member of the Cherokee tribe and a friend to everyone.

Steven is survived by his parents: Bill Johnston and his wife Betty of Talala and Joan Johnston of Talala. Fiancé: Meghan Foshee of Talala. 2 children: Ashlynd Johnston of Talala and Cheyenne Chester of Broken Arrow, 4 step-children: Texas Dougherty of Talala, Terry Dougherty of Talala, Sonora Carrillo of California and Pamela Carrillo of California. 1 granddaughter: Elena Johnston. 2 brothers: Michael Johnston of Talala and Matt Ferguson of Talala, OK. 2 sisters: Sarah Hale and her husband Jeffrey of Claremore and Stacey Kempton and her husband Michael of Nowata.

Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
