Sondra Tucker

Sondra Tucker of Tulsa passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at the age of 77.  Sondra was born on February 9, 1944 in Vancouver, WA to Raymond and LouEllen (Parker) Patterson. She married Everett Larry Tucker and they spent much of their life in Oklahoma.  Sondra graduated from Mellie’s Beauty College in Fort Smith, AR.  She owned Sondra’s Beauty Shop in Van Buren in the 60’s.  When she lived in Tulsa she was the office manager for H & H Plumbing. After retirement, Sondra worked her “fun” job at Talbots. She loved to travel, especially going on cruises.  Shopping, cooking, baking, and fishing were other activities she enjoyed.  Most importantly, Sondra loved being with her daughter Rolonda and her grandson Hunter.  Her friends and family loved her dearly and she will be missed.

Sondra is survived by her husband Everett Larry Tucker; her daughter Rolonda Blevins and husband Jackey; her sister Phyllis Morgan and husband Dennis; her grandson Hunter Chambers and wife Kaylee; and a host of family and friends.  Sondra was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Etheldred Patterson and David Patterson.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 pm, Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Donald Homady officiating.  Interment will follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville.
