Shirley Jean Burch

Shirley Jean Burch, 81 of Collinsville, OK passed away, Tuesday, July 23, 2019 in Collinsville, OK. She was born February 5, 1938 in Oologah, OK to A.L. “Joe” and Bertha Lois (Brazeal) Gasaway. Shirley was a lifelong resident of this area and a 1956 graduate of Collinsville High School. She worked for the City of Collinsville as a billing clerk, retiring after 26 years. She attended the Collinsville Church of the Nazarene and enjoyed reading her bible.

Visitation will be 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 28, 2019 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home. The family will be present from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m., Monday, July 29, 2019 at the Collinsville Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Tim Odom officiating. Interment will follow at the Ridgelawn Cemetery.

Shirley is survived by 1 daughter: Dana Pelton and her husband Dana of Collinsville and 1 son: Steve Burch and Shelly of Sperry. 10 Grandchildren: Jimmy Burch, Jr., Jeffrey Burch and his wife Amanda, Dr. Julie Burch, James Burch and his wife Jamie, Justin “Bubba” Burch and his wife Rochelle, Dustin Burch, Ashley Burch, Nathan Pelton and Kayla, Chris Pelton and his wife Megan and Douglas Pelton. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James E. “Jim” Burch, 1 son: Jimmy Ray Burch, and 2 sisters: Frances Weabe and Betty Gasaway.

Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
