Sheryl Susan Terwort (Robidoux) went to be with the Lord on July 23, 2026, passing away peacefully in her home in Collinsville, Oklahoma, at the age of 74.

Sheryl was born on May 6, 1952, in Long Beach, California, to Virginia and Corbin Robidoux. She later moved to Oklahoma and graduated from Owasso High School with the Class of 1970. A proud Native American, Sheryl was a member of the Iowa Tribe of Nebraska and Kansas. She held a deep knowledge of her heritage and took great pride in passing down traditional stories from older generations. Sheryl dedicated the majority of her life to raising her two sons and caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). She began her nursing career at a local nursing home before transitioning to the OB department at Claremore Regional Hospital, where she worked until her retirement. Even after retiring, her caregiving heart never stopped, as she dedicated her time to caring for her mother. Sheryl filled her retirement days with painting, gaming, and studying her Bible, always with a cup of coffee in hand, and spending time with her beloved cat, Forest.

She is survived by her two sons, Eric Terwort of San Marcos, Texas and Jacob (Brandi) Terwort of Marshall, Missouri; and four grandsons, Jon-Mitchell, Mavrick, Ethan, and Luke, all of Marshall, Missouri. She is also survived by her brother, Steve (Nancy) Robidoux of Claremore, Oklahoma; her sister, Louise (the late Martin) Rodewald of Arizona; nieces and nephews, Tina and Tonya of Minnesota, Brian of Arizona, Logan and Alexis of Virginia, and Josh and Caleb of Oklahoma; as well as five great-nieces and nephews, one great-great-nephew, and one great-great-niece.

Sheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Virginia and Corbin Robidoux; her sister, Mary Lou Menheer; and her beloved granddaughter, Rylee Terwort.

Arrangements are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home. A private family graveside memorial service will be held at a later date at Woodland Cemetery in Claremore, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family’s choice or directly to the funeral home to help cover final expenses.
