Sharon Jean Coppedge Masterson, 70, of Collinsville passed away on Monday, September 21, 2020 in Tulsa. Sharon was born on April 3, 1950 in Miami, OK to Roy and Chloe (Hendrickson) Coppedge. After graduating from Collinsville High School, Sharon attending nursing school on a scholarship provided by Hillcrest Medical Center. She worked as a LPN for Telex, Sun Oil, and the Gatesway Foundation before moving on from nursing. In the 80’s she began a new career after attending the American School of Paperhanging and Arts Commerce, Georgia. Sharon began gaining clients and worked for two interior design businesses hanging wallpaper and stenciling borders. She married the love of her life, Rodney Masterson in Port Arthur, TX on September 1, 1982. They were happily married for 48 years. Sharon was an avid lover of cats and collected many cat figurines. She also enjoyed doing macramé hangings and table coverings. Sharon loved her family and she will be missed by many.
Sharon is survived by her husband Rodney Masterson of the home; sister, Sandra Jackson and husband Jerry; sister-in-law, Linda Lathrop and husband Rick; brother-in-law, Wayne Masterson; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Ann Smith, and her brothers, Ronnie and Bob Coppedge.
