Sandra Diane Everett

April 11, 1936 — November 26, 2024

Sandra Diane (Boone) Everett, 88, of Owasso, OK, passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord on November 26, 2024. She was born on April 11, 1936, in Bartlesville, OK, to Talmadge W. “Cab” Boone and Modine (Marshall) Boone.  Sandra grew up on a farm just north of Vera, OK, and graduated from her beloved Vera High School in 1954.

She continued her education at Oklahoma City University. Over the years, Sandra built a diverse career, working for Merrill Lynch in Tulsa, the Arkansas Farm Bureau Insurance in Little Rock, and the Little Rock Water Department. She later returned to Bartlesville, where she worked for Phillips Petroleum Company and the Washington County Treasurer’s Office.

On September 6, 1980, Sandra married David Everett in Bartlesville, where she embraced the role of Mom to his three daughters,  Shelly, Missy, and Nikki.  She created a warm and welcoming home for David and their daughters, creating countless treasured memories and unforgettable moments. They had many fun and wonderful experiences together.  Sandra was a terrific cook and an avid collector of cookbooks.  She was also an aspiring artist; she loved to draw and paint.

Life’s journey led the family to Lansing, KS, and later to Owasso, OK, as David’s work brought new opportunities. Once their daughters were grown, Sandra continued her legacy of care by working at the Baptist Children’s Home in Owasso, where her kindness touched even more lives.

Sandra was a member of the First Baptist Church in Owasso.  She is survived by her husband David of 44 years.  Also surviving are daughters Shelly Walton, Missy (Michael) Garey of Edmond, OK, and Nikki (Ian) Holladay of Olathe, KS.   Three granddaughters also survive: Macy Garey, Molly Garey, and Penny Holladay.  She is also survived by a brother, David Boone of San Tan Valley, AZ, and many nieces and nephews.

From the moment Sandra came to know Jesus as a little girl, her heart longed for the day she would meet Him. While our hearts ache at her absence here on earth, we find comfort and joy in knowing she is now in the presence of her Savior, reunited with the loved ones who went before her.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Donald Boone, two sisters, Patricia Williams and Mary Brock, and two nephews, Tony Brock and Clint Boone.
