Roy Davis Killingsworth

Roy Davis Killingsworth passed away on November 15, 2022, in Collinsville, OK at the age of 96.  Roy was born on November 20, 1925 in Checotah to Vollie and Exie Killingsworth.  He married Reba Been on September 17, 1948, in Checotah and they remained married until her passing in 2019. Roy was a cattle rancher and was employed as a supervisor at Douglas Aircraft until his retirement.  He was born on the opening day of quail season and was a quail hunter his entire life.  In fact, he and his friends started the Oil Capital Rod and Gun Club in the 50’s.  That club is still open for shoots to this day.  Roy was loved by his family and friends, and they will miss him dearly.

Roy is survived by his 2 children, Ronnie Killingsworth and Pam Brackett and her husband Jim; 4 grandchildren, Crystal Jensen, Clint Killingsworth, Sheila Brackett-Wells, and Kyle Brackett; 10 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and a host of extended family and friends.  Roy was preceded in death by his parents Vollie and Exie Killingsworth; his wife Reba Killingsworth; 4 sisters; and 3 brothers.

The funeral meal will be served before the service at 12:30. All family and friends are welcome.

Visitation will be Thursday, November 17, 2022, 3:00 pm - 8:00pm, at Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home, with the family receiving guests from 3:00pm - 7:00 pm.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, November 18, 2022 at New Hope Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Hermon Wood officiating.  Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Owasso.
