Roger Dale Robinson

January 31, 1950 — May 18, 2022

Roger Dale Robinson was born January 31, 1950 at Nowata Clinic Hospital to Ernest & Dortha Robinson. As a child he grew up in old Alluwe. At the age of 3, he was blessed with a brother, Jolly Robinson and both attended Nowata Schools.


During the summer months the boys would spend time at Grandma Johnston’s dairy farm. Many summers were spent with cousins fishing in the pond or living the farm life making stories they would share later in life.


Roger was in the graduating class of 1968 from Nowata High School. He attended college at NEO Miami where he studied computer programming.
He enjoyed the adventurous life where he joined “The Explorer’s” and learned canoeing and spelunking in the Wilderness of Canada.

Roger worked at the coal mines and worked many years in the oilfield business. He married Nancy in 1972 and resided in Nowata. They were blessed with 2 daughters and 1 son; Lori, Anna, and Chris.

In 1996 Roger married Joanne and they made their home in Collinsville. He worked for ASCEC Manufacturing Co. and retired in 2016.

He is preceded by his parents Ernest L. and Dortha Belle Robinson

Roger is survived by his wife Joanne and her sons Monty and Marlon and wife Rita, daughters Lori and Anna of Bartlesville, son Chris and wife Cappy of Grand Lake, 2 granddaughters, Morgan and Leah, grandson Ian, 1 brother Jolly and wife Yolanda; nephew Andrew; aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and close friends.

Visitation: 1:30 pm - 6:00 pm, Sunday, May 22, 2022, at Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.

Graveside Service: 10:00 am, Monday, May 23, 2022 at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville.
