Roberta Bessie Huskey

Roberta Bessie Huskey of Owasso, passed away on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at the age of 93.  Roberta was born on August 12, 1927 in Oilton, OK to Cecil and Margarette (Helton) Greer. While working as a retail clerk in Hominy, she met the love of her life, Loyd C. Huskey.  They married and started their family together living first in Tulsa, and then retiring to Lake Hudson at Salina. They later moved to Owasso where Roberta has lived for the last 12 years.  Roberta left her retail position to become a full time homemaker and caregiver. She had a great love for her family and absolutely adored her grandchildren. Roberta was active in the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and often volunteered helping make ceramics at the Claremore VFW.  She enjoyed square dancing and tending to her flower garden.  She especially loved caring for her roses.  Roberta was loved by her family dearly and will be missed by many.

Roberta is survived by her 3 daughters, 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at A.J. Powell Memorial Cemetery in Hominy with Fred Waldrep officiating.
