Robert A. Newton

Robert Allen Newton, 83, of Talala, OK passed away December 22, 2020 in Muskogee, OK. He was born August 6, 1937 in Muskogee, OK to Charles Othel and Ruth Elisabeth (Adams) Newton. He served in The United States Navy where he was a mechanic for the Blue Angels. He had lived in Talala since 1974 where he was a rancher.

Visitation will be 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be 10:00 am, Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at the Oak Hill Cemetery with Rev. Leonard Pirtle officiating.

He is survived by 2 children: Robbin Sue Newton-Lugo of Talala and David Othel Newton and his wife Ruth of Talala, 1 brother: Gary Newton of Tahlequah, OK. Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren also survive him.

He is preceded in death by his wife: Peggy Newton.

Funeral services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
