Robert Val Jean Inbody

Robert Val Jean Inbody of Ramona, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2014 at his home. He was 78. Val Jean was born on April 22, 1936 in Dawson, OK to Howard Ray Inbody and the former Ellen Esta Ragg. He married Emma Lynch at the Collinsville Free Will Baptist Church on July 27, 1956 and together they raised 5 children. Val Jean worked as a Quality Control Supervisor for Ramsey Winch for 39 years until his retirement. He served on the Rural Water District 3 Board for the last 10 years before stepping down. He was also a member of the Caney Valley School Board for 18 years. Val Jean enjoyed vacationing with his family, fishing, gardening, wood working, and watching the OKC Thunder play. He was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Val Jean is survived by his wife Emma Inbody of the home; his children, Valeria Mack and husband Fred, Kennen Inbody and wife Debbie, Darryl Inbody and wife Rabenn, Melodie Davis and husband Michael, and Karla Hamrick; 9 grandchildren, Jillian Senne and husband Jeff, Katie Pendley and husband Jimmy, Kyle Hamrick, Tara Ebey and husband Chris, Courtney Spurgeon and husband Stephen, Jessi Runnoe and husband Cody, Kara Inbody, Gray Inbody, and Christy Broad; 6 great grandchildren, Danica, Ella, River, Jonathon, Austin, Lyrica, Angelina, and Caterina; his brother, Dee Von Inbody; and a host of extended family and friends. Val Jean was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Norman Dean Inbody.

Visitation for Val Jean will be held Sunday, June 29, 2014 from 1:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home, 1302 West Main St.

A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 30, 2014 at the Collinsville Free Will Baptist Church, 15320 N Hwy 169, with Rev. Bill Adcock and Rev. Hermon Wood officiating. Interment will follow at Ramona Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home, (918) 371-2111.
