Robert Earl Hendrix, 89, of Collinsville, OK passed away Thursday, November 21, 2019 in Collinsville. He was born September 3, 1930 in Webber Falls, OK to Thomas and Blanche (Jones) Hendrix. He moved to Collinsville in May of 1960. He worked for Magic Empire Express for 23 years having retired in May of 1976. He then went to work for the City of Collinsville retiring in 2006. He was an avid member of the National Rifle Association and a member of the Coon Hunters Association. He served in the United States Army. He was also a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Collinsville.
Visitation will be 1:30 pm to 6:00 pm, Sunday, November 24, 2019 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
Interment will be Noon, Monday, November 25, 2019 at the Tom Girty Cemetery, south of Webbers Falls with Rev. Tommy Ballard officiating
Memorial services will be 10:00 am, Saturday, November 30, 2019, November 30, 2019 at the First Baptist Church of Collinsville with Rev. Jeff Bradley officiating.
He is survived by his wife Jewel of the home. 2 sons: Terrill Hendrix and his wife Debbie of Broken Arrow, OK and Robert Hendrix of Collinsville, 3 grandchildren: Aaron Hendrix, Alex Hendrix and Justin Hendrix, 2 great-grandchildren: Haylee Grace Hendrix and Quinn Hendrix. He is also survived by 1 brother: Gene Hendrix of Webbers Falls.
