Richard Martyn Hibbard

Richard Martyn Hibbard, 80, of Collinsville, OK passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2019 in Collinsville. He was born in Lowell, KS on September 19, 1938 to Charles M. Hibbard and the and Imogene Nelma (Brown) Hibbard. He served in the United States Air Force. He was a resident of Collinsville since 1965 and was retired from American Airlines. He was a member of the Red Bird Sam’s Camping Club and the German Corner Donut Shop Circle. Richard was an avid storyteller and Pilot.

Visitation will be Noon to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 21, 2019 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home. The family will present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. to receive guest.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 22, 2019 at the Collinsville Church of Christ with Mr. Carl Harris and Mr. Kyle Brewer officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Lowell Cemetery in Lowell, KS.

He is survived by his wife: Sue Hibbard of the home. 1 daughter: Star Kimrey and her husband Roy. 6 Grandchildren: Jordan Scruggs, Levon Kimrey, Dakoda Goins, Brook Metts, Maegan Miller and Taylor Kimrey. 2 great-grandchildren: Griffin Metts and Taegan Miller. 1 brother also survives him: Mike Hibbard and his wife Rhonda.

He is preceded in death by 2 daughters: Leann Hibbard and Marsha Scruggs.
