We are deeply saddened by the death of Raymond George Hartman, husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Raymond passed away on December 31, 2022 in Tulsa, OK after fighting an illness resulting from cancer treatment. He was born in Tulsa, OK on May 9, 1947 to Cecil Leon Hartman Sr. and Ollie Ellen Hartman, née Henshall. He grew up on the family farm in Talala, OK. He attended Snarr and Oologah Schools.
After graduating Oologah High School in 1965, Raymond attended Oklahoma State University School of Technical Training pursuing a degree in Commercial Art. In 1967, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and served four years including in Nha Trang, Vietnam, Guam, and Carswell AFB, Texas, earning the rank of Sergeant.
Raymond met Leojauna Johnston while attending school in Oologah. They married on July 1, 1967 and spent 55 years together until his death. They raised two sons, Tracy and Jason.
Raymond worked in a variety of jobs during his career ranging from Uniroyal Tire in Ardmore, OK; Rainbow Bread delivery driver in Tulsa, drilling superintendent for Johnston Drilling Co, and his own trucking company, Hartman Trucking, hauling livestock throughout the United States.
During his retirement, Raymond enjoyed ranching, fishing, woodworking, painting and leather craft. He loved spending time with grandchildren and teaching them about the family farm and ranch. He took great pride in raising some of the best looking Brangus cattle in Rogers County.
He is survived by his wife, Leojauna Hartman of Talala, OK; two sons Tracy and his wife, Tamra Hartman of Edmond, OK, and Jason and his wife, Brooke Hartman of Talala, OK; one brother, Cecil Leon Hartman Jr.; four grandsons, Christopher and his wife, Makenna Hartman of Edmond, OK; Timothy Hartman of Edmond, OK; Ray Hartman of Talala, OK and Seth Hartman of Talala, OK, and a host of extended family and friends.

Visitation will be Noon to 8:00 pm, Thursday, January 5, 2023 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home Chapel. The family will be present from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Friday, January 6, 2023 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Moore officiating. Interment will follow at the Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville.
