Raymond Lee French

Col. Raymond Lee French, 83, passed away, Tuesday, September 21, 2021 in Plano, TX. He was born March 12, 1938 in Collinsville, OK to Harold and Letha (Hubbard) French. Ray graduated from University of Tulsa in 1962 with a B.S. degree in Mathematics. He was commissioned through the Air Force ROTC program. In 1972 he attended the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) School of Engineering, Wright-Patterson AFB Ohio, where he received a B.S degree in Electrical Engineering and a M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering. He retired from the Air Force in 1988 after 26 years of service. Visitation will be Noon to 8:00 pm, Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home. The family will be present from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Thursday, September 30, 2021 at the Meadowcreek United Methodist Church with Rev. Nathon Mattox officiating. Interment will Military Honors will follow at the Ridgelawn Cemetery. He is survived by his wife: Barbara Bondurant of Plano, TX, 1 Daughter, Raylene Clegg of Owasso, OK, 2 Granddaughters, Caitlin Clegg Ferrell of Bumpass VA and Rachele Clegg of Washington D.C., 2 Great Granddaughters, Kylee Wolfe & Kori Ferrell, of Bumpass, VA, 1 Step-Son, Eric Bondurant of Tampa, FL, 1 Step-Daughter, Renee Bondurant of St Petersburg, FL, 1 Step-Granddaughter, Mary Bondurant of Tampa, FL, 1 Step-Grandson, John Bondurant of Tampa, FL, 1 Sister, Pat Hogan & Husband, Moe Hogan of Tulsa, OK, 2 Nieces, Pat Hunt of Collinsville, OK and Tara Lamberton of Tulsa of OK, 1 Nephew, Donald French, Jr. of Collinsville, OK. He is also survived by 4 Great Nephews and 1 Great, Great Niece He is preceded in death by his Parents, Harold & Letha French, 1 Brother, Donald (Richard) French and 1 Nephew, Tim Hogan. Funeral services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
