Ralph Leroy Martin, 72, of Collinsville, OK passed away Monday, December 12, 2011 in Tulsa, OK. He was born November 23, 1939 in Oklahoma City, OK to Robert E. and Ruby (Marsh) Martin. He had lived in Collinsville for 46 years.

Ralph retired from construction with Flintco after 40 years of service. He began as a union Carpenter, then Carpenter Forman, and then Superintendant. Before that he was a Chef at Piccadilly Cafeteria in Wichita Falls, TX. He also serviced in the United States Air Force.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Martin of the home. 3 Children, Renee Pilgrim and her husband Danny of Oologah; Steve Martin of Tulsa; Kevin Martin and his wife Darla of Talala. 3 Step-Children, Kathy Eby and her husband Randy of Prague, Chell Propp and his wife Susan of Adair, OK and Lori Stout and her husband Steve of Collinsville. 2 brothers and 1 sister: Robert Ross Martin and his wife Sue of Owasso, Terry Darlene Roberts of Oklahoma City, and Jerry Dean Martin and his wife Susie of Oologah, 18 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his special dog, Reject.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Doris June Martin, 1 step Daughter: Leisa Potts.

Visitation will be Wednesday, noon to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to noon at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 15, 2011 at the Ridgelawn Cemetery with Rev. Claud Strong Officiating. Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
