Ralph Eugene Marler

Ralph Eugene Marler of Owasso, passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at the age of 85.  Ralph was born on November 8, 1938, in Nowata, OK to Gail and Doris (Dildine) Marler. After high school, Ralph moved to Tulsa to work before joining the United States Army in 1959.  During his service, he was stationed in Seoul Korea where he met Soja Huh.  Ralph and Soja were married on July 18, 1962, in Seoul, Korea, before returning to the United States.  Ralph and Soja settled in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where Ralph eventually made his career with American Airlines. Ralph and Soja raised their three daughters in Collinsville, Oklahoma, before finally settling in Owasso, Oklahoma.  They have been long time members of the Church of the Nazarene in Collinsville.

Throughout life, Ralph always enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially after retirement.

Ralph is survived by his wife Soja Marler of the home; 3 daughters, Lillian White, Nancy Pilkington, and Martha Whiteley; 4 sisters, Gayla, Twyla, Brenda and Marsha; 5 grandchildren, Matthew Pilkington, Tyler Payne, Kyle Payne, Aidan White and Sarah White; 2 great grandchildren, Madeline Pilkington and Everly Pilkington.  Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, Gail and Doris (Dildine) Marler, and his brother Monty Marler.

A Memorial Service will be held 10:00 am, Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at the Collinsville Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Ryan Amey officiating.
