Phyllis Jean (Tally) Myers, 57, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2009 in Oologah. She was born December 11, 1952 to William Edward and Emily I. (Holmes) Tally in Ponca City. She lived in Oologah for the last 20 years. Phyllis was a former waitress at The Mustang. Her hobbies included being with her family and her grandchildren. She will be missed by many.
Phyllis is survived by her husband, Billie Joe Myers, Jr. of the home; 3 children, Gary and Ann Marie Victory of Texas, Larry and Melissa Victory of Petersburg, VA, and Stacie and Bryan Kawa of Heartsville, SC; 2 stepchildren, Angela and Brock Standridge of Colorado Springs, CO and Randall William Myer of Ketchum; her in-laws, Jack and Deloris Tighe of Parsons, KS; 3 siblings, Carolyn Green and her husband Don of Rison, AR, Billy Tally and his wife Mary of Springlake, NC, and Cheryle Tally of Oologah; 10 grandchildren; her beloved friends, Patty and Jim Baker; and a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Emily Tally.
Visitation for Phyllis will be held Monday, December 21, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and Tuesday, December 22, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Oologah Dolton Funeral Home.
A Graveside Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at Wann Cemetery near Oologah, with Pastor Larry Downum officiating. Services are under the direction of Oologah Dolton Funeral Home, www.collinsvillefh.com.
