Phillip Ray Boyd

April 7, 1932 — November 28, 2012

Phillip Ray Boyd of rural Oologah went to be with the Lord on November 28, 2012. He was a retired heavy equipment operator. He spent two years in the U.S. Army at Fort Bliss, TX. He was a perpetual member and past Worthy Patron of Oologah Masonic Lodge. He was also past Worthy Patron of the Oologah Order of Eastern Star. He was a member of the Oologah Methodist Church.

Phillip was born April 7, 1932 in Kellyville, Ok to E.D. and Florence Boyd. His parents, four brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife Linda of 59 years, daughters, Linda Tice of Owasso and Brenda Moore and her husband Wayne of Talala. Grandchildren: Rachelle Wooley and her husband Jason of Jenks, Jared Tice and his wife Alicia of Oologah, Amy Mott and her husband Lance of Duncan and Michael Moore of Denver, Co. Great-Grandchildren: Alexis, Brooke and Corbin Wooley of Jenks, Hunter Tice and Meagan Beyer of Oologah. Sisters: Mary Ann Myers of Houston, TX, Sue Atkinson of Arlington, TX., Willa Mare Schuster of Quarryville, PA and Juanita Stephens of Haysville, KS. He is also survived by numerous Cousins, Nephews and Nieces.

A Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 1, 2012 with Pastor Clayton Paslay officiating. Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
