Pauline Giddens

Sarah Pauline Giddens, 94, of Collinsville, OK passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2019 in Owasso, OK. She was born February 4, 1925 in Claremore, OK to Arthur Elzey Harris and the former Lela Mae Christean. She had lived in Collinsville since 1965 and was once a member of the Collinsville Round-Up Club. She love to sew, needle point and embroidery, having won several ribbons at the Tulsa State Fair and the Collinsville Tri-County Fair. Also known as Granny Giddens, for over 30 years she held a Christmas party for over 100 kids.

Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 21, 2019 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home. The family will be present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Graveside services will be 3:00 p.m., Friday, February 22, 2019 at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Claremore, OK with Dr. Tim Prock officiating.

She is survived by 3 children: Glenda Wheeler of Collinsville, Cheri Barker and her husband Charles of Collinsville and Mike Giddens and his wife Cheryl of Collinsville. 6 grandchildren: Cynthia Smith and her husband Mitch, Chris Wheeler and his partner Cathie, Drew Barker, Amber Taylor and her husband Josh, Megan Giddens and Emily Giddens. 3 great-grandchildren: Ryder Smith, Sean Kuehn and Samantha Maples. 2 great-great-grandchildren: Tristan Maples and Samuel Maples.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Glen Giddens and a brother and 2 sisters.
