Patsy Carrol Johns

Patsy Carrol Johns, of Owasso, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2023, at the age of 85.  Patsy was born July 7, 1938, in Talala, OK to Carl Wofford and the former Stella Larimore.  After graduating from Talala in 1956, she married her high school sweetheart James Leroy “Jimmie” Johns.  She remained a lifelong member of the area until her passing.  Patsy was a member of the First Baptist Church of Collinsville where she was active in the choir. She was known to her family and friends as a great cook. Patsy had an active social life with her friends, whether it was gathering for game night or meeting for breakfast at a favorite local restaurant.

Patsy is survived by her son, Chris Johns and wife Dana, and daughter, Tammy Bingham and Bob Brady; 2 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Stella Wofford and her husband Jimmie Johns of almost 67 years, and 1 brother, Jack Wofford.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with the family receiving guests from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 am, Thursday, November 2, 2023, at the First Baptist Church of Collinsville with guest pastor Mike Thomas and Dr. Tim Prock officiating.  Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Talala.
