Patsy Lou Chappell, 88, of Collinsville, OK passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021 in Collinsville. She was born May 14, 1932 in Winnsboro, TX to Charles Roy Howe and the former Lester Mattie Cook. She had lived in Collinsville since 1956. Patsy was a member of the Collinsville First Assembly Church since 1958. She had been a Day Care owner for several years, having helped raise many of the children of Collinsville. She loved going to the Auto Races every Saturday night at Tulsa Speedway and The old Tulsa Fair Grounds. She was a proud mother and grandmother of her racecar driving family. She also sewed and iron for several families.
Visitation will be 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Thursday, January 14, 2021 at the Collinsville First Assembly church with Rev. Jeff Bradley officiating. Interment will follow at the Wann Cemetery.
She is survived by 2 sons: Dewayne Chappell of Collinsville and David Chappell and his wife Kari of Talala, 14 grandchildren, including Zach Chappell and his wife Meghan of Oologah, Stephanie Morgan and her husband Brent of Owasso, Dena Chappell of Oologah, Jessica Chappell of Tulsa and Chris McColley of Collinsville and numerous other great-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 1 sister: Jackie Andrews of Midland, TX and several nieces and nephews.
Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
