Pamela Sue Russell

August 5, 1952 — May 24, 2022

PAMELA (Pam) RUSSELL – Pamela Russell, 69, died Tuesday, May 24 th , at her home in Collinsville from complications of Marfan Syndrome.

Pam was born Pamela Sue Aduddell in Oklahoma City on August 5, 1952 to Lois and Bernard Aduddell.  She spent most of her life in Altus (graduating from Altus High School in 1970) and Lawton.  She lived the last 4 years in Collinsville, where she was surrounded by much love.

In school, Pam played basketball and was in the band.  She often described her childhood as being so much fun and that everyone would hang out at their house.

In high school, Pam fell in love with Ronald Russell and married him on August 15, 1970.  Their daughter, Amy, was born in Altus on February 8, 1973, and shortly after they moved to Lawton.  Their son, Jeff, was born in Lawton on September 4, 1976.

Pam retired from Flower Mound School in Lawton in 2011 after working there and forming life-long bonds for 20 years.

Pam and Ron had a wonderful life together and are now together again, taking Lolo to the casino, listening to her brother Bill's jokes, having daily talks with her sisters Brenda and Jacque and her grandmother Me-Ma, and catching up with ALL the people she loved that are no longer with us.

Pam was an amazing mom, Mimi, aunt, niece, daughter, granddaughter, sister and friend to all that knew her.  She was passionate about love, her relationships, and her fur babies and the feelings were returned a million-fold.  She was tough as nails and as loving as a person could be.

Pam was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Ronald Russell, her beloved mother Lois (Banister) Aduddell (Lolo), her 3 amazing siblings – Brenda Parker, Bill Aduddell and Jacque Dudley, her grandparents and her father, Bernard Aduddell.

Pam is survived by her daughter and her fiancée, Amy Huff and Brian Lloyd of Collinsville, her son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Kim Russell of Collinsville, her grandchildren Brianna and Tyler Waggoner of Lakeville, MN, Dylan Russell and Maddy Roberts of Collinsville, Peyton Russell and Jaiden Balthrop of Collinsville, and Alyssa Russell of Collinsville, her sister and brother-in-law, Patti and Kevin Martin of Oklahoma City, and her sister-in-law, June Aduddell of Oklahoma City and a brother-in-law, Bob Parker of Tennessee.  She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many other relatives and close friends who were also her family.

A service for Pam will be determined at a later time.
