Orvin Floyd "Buddy" Maynor

Orvin Floyd “Buddy” Maynor, 79 of Oologah, OK passed away Friday, April 9, 2010 in Oologah, OK. He was born August 16, 1930 in Tulsa, Ok to Charles Henry Maynor and the former Goldie Pearl Culver. He had lived all of his life in the Tulsa and Oologah area. He was a member of the Zion Hill Church in Oologah.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Colleen Maynor of the home. 3 sons: Orvin Floyd “Sonny” Maynor, II of Bristow, OK, Allan Sewell of Oologah, OK, Gary Sewell and his wife Cathy of Talala, OK. 4 daughters: Debra Decker and her husband Kendall of Coltry, OK, Bonnie Morgan of Depew, OK, Pamela Jones and her husband Tommy of Rockwall, TX, and Sherri Maynor of Oologah. 14 Grandchildren and 9 Great-grandchildren.
He is also survived by 2 brothers: Jack Maynor and his wife Eva of Oologah, OK and Connie Maynor and his wife Barbara of Oologah, OK, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, April 12, 2010 at the Oologah Dolton Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at the Zion Hill Church in Oologah with Rev. Terry Palmer officiating with interment following at Wann Cemetery.
