Opal B. "Gay" Gaylord

September 15, 1925 — September 26, 2008

Opal B. “Gay” Gaylord was born to Wm. “Bud” Bryan and Netta Brank Bryan on September 15, 1925 in Collinsville, OK. She passed away September 26, 2008 at the age of 83 at her home in Broken Arrow.
Opal was married to her high school sweetheart Clark Lee Gaylord on January 20, 1944. They were married for 54 happy years before his death in 1998. She had many facets. She was a wife and mother, a city girl, a farm wife, a custom tailor, an antique collector, and a fisherman.
She is survived by: one son, Clark L. Gaylord of Tulsa and one daughter, Mary Galbreath and her husband Joe of Broken Arrow; five grandchildren: Laura Galbreath, Tulsa, Sarah Galbreath, Tahlequah, Aaron Coyner, Washington, D.C., Gary Michael Gaylord, Broken Arrow and Dena K. Johnson, Linden, MI; Four Great-grand-children: Austin Gaylord, Emily Gaylord, Angel LaBrake and Douglas Adams.
She was well loved and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clark Lee Gaylord, 1 sister: Margie Bryan Clapp and 1 brother: Arthur “Garlic” Bryan.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 29, 2008 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Thomas Schwartz officiating. Interment will follow at the Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville.

Visitation will be Sunday from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
