O. Marie "Peggy" Heath

O. Marie "Peggy" Heath, formerly of Ponca City, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2012 in Owasso, OK. She was 85. She was born December 2, 1926 in Norman, OK to Jesse and Anna (Elliott) Lane. She moved to Grainola when she was two, where she graduated high school. During the War she worked for the FBI in Washington, D.C. Peggy married her high school sweetheart Bill J. Heath and together they raised 3 children in Ponca City. After retiring, she and Bill began RVing around the country, often to music festivals and they traveled to Texas each winter. They eventually settled in Mathis, TX permanently. Peggy moved to Collinsville, OK in 2008 to be closer to family.

Peggy is survived by her children, Kathy Oltmanns and husband Steve of Round Rock, TX, Marie Herbst and Barrie Poole of Owasso, and Joe Heath of Oklahoma City; her siblings, Bill Lane of Talala, Don Lane of Vera, Opal Olsen of Cashion, and Lois Del Prioire and husband, Mike of Kansas City, KS; her sister-in-law, Wesine Hall and husband Frank of Bend, OR; her grandchildren, David and Anna Oltmanns, Megan Heath Moreno, and Jerod Heath; her great grandchildren, Abby and Julianne Oltmanns; and a host of extended family and friends. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Anna Lane; her husband, Bill J. Heath; her sisters, Maggie McDonald, Gladys Snyder, and Earlen Patterson.
