Nancy Carolyn Layton

Nancy Carolyn Layton, 70, of Skiatook, passed away Sunday, October 8, 2017 in Skiatook. She was born March 2, 1947 in Tahlequah, OK to Dr. O.E. Layton and the former Mary Elizabeth McSpadden.

Visitation will be Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday at the Ridgelawn Cemetery with Dr. Tim Prock officiating.

Nancy loved animal and often took in the neighborhood stray animals and took care of them. She also loved helping people. She always felt she could help them; her heart was always in the right place. She graduated from Tahlequah High School in 1965 and attended Northern State University.

She is survived by her son: Troy Anspaw and his wife Renee’ of Broken Arrow. 2 grandchildren: Adam Shirley of Broken Arrow and Emily Camos-Padilla and her husband Manuel of Bixby.

Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
