Nancy Jane Gardner

Nancy Jane Gardner, beloved wife, sister, mother, and grandmother, passed into her eternal life on December 3, 2023. She is survived by her loving husband, James I. Gardner, her sister Pamela J. Forsyth, her children Shawn M. Campbell and Jaye G. Gardner, her grandchildren James, Bridgette, Rachel, Michael, David, Sarah, and their children.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, December 8, 2023, at the Collinsville Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Tim Odom officiating.

Nancy was born July 6th, 1943 to Walter and Thelma Forsyth in Erie, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Ft. LeBoeuf High School and later Edinboro University with a degree in Education. She spent time as both a teacher in the Ft. LeBoeuf school district and a copywriter for Marx Toys before settling into a 30+ year career as a multiple award-winning newspaper carrier for Erie Times News.

She was a dedicated member of her church congregation and the Christian Women’s Association. Nancy enjoyed spending Thursday nights with her bowling league and, at any opportunity, finding the perfect deal at her favorite stores. Her generosity was matched only by her loving spirit and she touched countless lives during her time with us. Nancy will be forever missed but will continue on in our hearts.
