Myrtle Margaret May

Myrtle Margaret May, 76, of Talala, OK passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018 in Talala. She was born April 13, 1941 in Leonard, OK to David William McClure and the former Hazel Fern Burchett. She lived in Talala since 1972 having moved from Owasso. She was a member of the Talala Christian Church. She had played the piano for various churches that she had attended. She loved camping, reading and spoiling her grandchildren. She truly loved her family.

Visitation will be 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, February 25, 2018 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 26, 2018 at Talala Christian Church with Pastor Tom Jones officiating. Interment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Talala.

She is survived by her husband: Charles May of the home. Two daughters: Jana Hartman and her husband Mark of Broken Arrow and Lisa Collins and her husband Chris of Claremore. Four Grandchildren: Lyndsay Strickland, McKenzie Hartman, Blake Collins and Chase Collins. One great-granddaughter: Brooklyn Phelan.

Her parents precede her in death: David and Hazel McClure.

Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
