Mikayla Anne Turnage

Mikayla Anne Turnage , 21 of Oologah, OK. Born on November 18, 1998 at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK. She passed in the comfort of her own home on the morning of September 10, 2020. Mikayla was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and a friend to most. She competed in many Special Olympics games, The Amazing Games and was a teammate of the TOS All Star Cheer Team. She really loved riding horses. Mikayla healed many people in her lifetime with little to no effort.  She will be remembered by her contagious smile, courage, strength, determination and her inability to be knocked down by life. The strength that was embedded in Mikayla’s soul will carry her memory with us forever. May Mikayla rest in peace for eternity as there are no more seizures in Heaven.

Mikayla is survived by her mother, Terri Turnage; her father, Brian Turnage; her sisters, Annika Brownfield and husband Jesse and Channing Turnage; her brother, Leland Turnage and wife Kylie; baby bubba, Reed Turnage; her grandmas, Linda Stanfield, Janice Turnage and Vicki Stanfield; her great-grandpa, Bill Stanfield; and a host of extended family and friends.

Visitation for Mikayla will be Sunday, September 13, 2020 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home from 1:30 pm to 6:00 pm with the family receiving guests from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 pm, Monday, September 14, 2020 at the Oologah Assembly of God with Pastor Kent Jensen officiating.  Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Talala. Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home, www.collinsvillefh.com , (918) 371-2111.
