Michael Ray Walker

Michael Ray Walker, 57, of Skiatook, OK passed away Monday, March 1, 2010 in Tulsa, OK. He was born July 26, 1952 in Claremore, OK to Billy Joe Walker and Peggy Lonsinger Walker. He was a Superintendent for McAnaw Construction of Bartlesville, OK. He enjoyed fishing and was a member of the Tulsa Hook Setters and the Oklahoma Rod Benders. He had been a member of the Baptist Tabernacle Church for several years before attending the Church on the Move in Tulsa, OK. He married Ranell Baker on Febuary 3, 1973.
He is survived by his wife Ranell of the home, 2 sons: Zackary Walker and his wife Tara of Collinsville and Samuel Walker of Skiatook, his mother, Peggy Walker of Collinsville. 1 brother: Pat Walker and his wife Janice of Collinsville and 1 sister: Jo Ann Lawson and her husband Earl of Skiatook. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Billy Joe Walker.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 4, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 5, 2010 at the Baptist Tabernacle Church in Collinsville with Rev. Gary Cate and Rev. Scott Johnson officiating. Pallbearers will be: Chris Pattillo, Nathan Pattillo, Jeff Walker, Todd Walker, Scott Baker and Danny Baker. Interment will follow at the Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville, OK Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
