Michael Jeremy Smith

Michael Jeremy Smith was born September 18, 1975 to Diane Webb and David Livingston in Wichita, Kansas. Later at the age of 3 he was adopted by Fred Smith. The family moved from Kansas to Oklahoma in 1980 where he attended kindergarten in Collinsville Public schools then continued his education in Owasso. As a child he always wanted to be a firefighter, wearing his firefighter hat everywhere he went. As a teenager Jeremy rode bare back horses, attending Lyle Sanky Rodeo school, these were great times when Jeremy made several friends. At a young age he started working numerous jobs from cleaning horse stalls to working on old cars. He eventually went to work at the port of Catoosa at Air Matrix, welding. He then started his dream career of being a firefighter where he ended up a full time employee at Collinsville Rural Fire Department, serving for more than 20 years. Jeremy married the love of his life, his soulmate Chassity in Eureka Springs on August 30, 2014 in a private ceremony. They enjoyed spending their time together as a family, some of their favorite memories include hiking, camping, fishing and junkin’. Jeremy loved spending time with his only son Tristan hunting. He attended life church owasso where both he and his wife served in Lifekids and served on the host team side by side. You could find Jeremy in the front row with his hands lifted to Jesus as he sang his heart out.

He leaves behind his wife Chassity, his 6 children- Kirsti, Emma, Tristan, Annie, Justyce and Josie.

His parents include - Diane and Gene Webb. David and Cindy Livingston. Fred and Kathy Smith, Eddie and Jackie Hamlin.

Siblings include - Renee and Bill Lankford. Brandon and Jessica Smith, Sarah and Jeremy Dobson, Jamie Livingston. Tyral and Romy Kerr. Adam and Deanna Katon.

Also, several nieces and nephews and all his firefighter family and friends.

Jeremy is preceded in death by- Grandma and Grandpa Powell, Smith and Livingston. Brother Shane Smith.

A Celebration of Life will be held 1:00 pm, Saturday, November 11, 2023 at the Baptist Tabernacle of Collinsville.
