Michael Dean Murr, 46, of Collinsville, OK passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2012 in Owasso, OK. He was born March 29, 1966 in Colorado Springs, CO to Melvin and JoAnn (Frisk) Murr. He was a graduated of Collinsville High School and lived in Collinsville most of his life. Michael work as a label printer for ELT but was considered by all as A Jack of all Trades. He loved to play billiards and when not doing that he was fishing. He was honored by his children as Father Of The Year for 23 years. Mike never met a stranger in his life. He was loved by all that met him. He helped everyone that he met and made people laugh all the time. You always heard Mike say “that’s funny right there, I don’t care who ya are”.
He would not want us to grieve but to celebrate his life.
He is survived by 5 Daughters: Erica Murr of Okmulgee, Tina Batson and her husband Eric of Tulsa, Sherri Stewart of Collinsville, Sheandara Holloway and her husband Collin of Sand Springs and Sarah Linzy and her husband Travis of Collinsville. 1 son: Skip Ishmael of Tulsa. 8 Grandchildren: Caiden, Kolbe, Taylor, Lauren, Morgan, Camryn, Payton and Hunter. 3 Brothers: Andy Murr, Mark Kirkland and Zack Kirkland. 3 sisters: Monica Murr, Katie Murr and Mindy Murr. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 2, 2012 at West Campus of Current Church(The former Miracles of Faith Church) with Rev. Jim Carney officiating.
