Michael Eugene Hill

Michael Eugene Hill, age 71, passed away in Talala, OK on Thursday, August 21, 2025. Mike was a former resident of Casper, WY until moving to Oklahoma 5 years ago. He was born on August 17, 1954, in Sheridan, WY to Marlin and Donna (Simpson) Hill.

Born and raised in Wyoming, he spent most of his life working in the oil fields, a career that reflected his hard work, resilience, and strong work ethic. He loved playing cards and shaking dice with friends, a cold beer in hand, and sharing stories. His motorcycle was his pride and joy, giving him the freedom of the open road.  He had just spent the last 10 days in Wyoming riding motorcycles with his very close friend Jimbo. More than anything, he enjoyed the company of his friends and the simple pleasures of good conversation and good times. Above all Mike truly enjoyed watching his grandson grow up. Mike will be remembered for his loyalty to those he loved.

Mike leaves behind his son Justin Hill and wife Kari of Oologah, OK, his brother Carl Hill of Casper, WY, his grandson Carson Hill, and a host of family and friends who will miss him dearly but will forever smile at the memories he gave them. He was preceded in death by his daughter Shailey, his parents, and his 4 siblings, Charlie Hill, Martin Hill, Pauline Mason, and Patty Hill.

A celebration of Mike’s life will be planned at a later date in Casper Wyoming – because you know he’d want everyone to gather, laugh, and raise a glass in his honor.
